A delicious individual chocolate flavoured bun containing chocolate chips, made from gluten-free ingredients with great nutritional value like pea protein, rice flour and teff flour that provides fibre and slow-release carbohydrates, with minerals and amino acids.
Tips
Very easy to make, it is the ideal bun for any time of day, as a healthy dessert, full of nutrients and very low in sugar, it means you can satisfy your longing to eat something sweet and delicious without feeling guilty, and with a good protein boost. You can take it with you when you travel and when you compete to make sure you have enough protein and easy digestion.
You can also add a spoonful of olive oil or coconut oil to make to make the mixture a bit smoother. You could also add pieces of chopped fruit, nuts, dried fruit…. by adding it to the mixture before cooking or add it as a topping once the bun is cooked. If you want to take it out of the mould it is best to let it cool first, or you can eat it straight out of the mould with a spoon.
Always carry a packet of Veggie Protein Brownie with you to make sure you have the perfect amount of energy and protein before a competition or training session when you’re not at home.
Mix (60 g of powder [5 full dispensers]) with 85 ml of water (use the dispenser to measure the exact amount) until you have a smooth paste. Use a mould of about 10cm in diameter that is microwave safe. Cook for a maximum of 2 minutes in the microwave.
